Dear list
We're contributing to this project from 31 October to 12 November, proposing a mix of live environmental sounds, sound / transmission artworks, commentary and reports from activities happening in Glasgow and beyond.
If you are interested to run or refresh a stream or set up a new stream in relation to the concerns of the project, we would be very happy to include this work in the schedule, which is coming together now.
Read the call (still open for proposals) https://mailchi.mp/7027cb4b175a/air https://mailchi.mp/7027cb4b175a/air
We were thinking, if it is not feasible to run a stream for the 2 weeks of the event, we could agree on which days or nights a stream might feature.
We have a lot of airtime, so there is potential for long term listening to sounds of places in real time, which some of us here clearly like..
Listening page (working) http://acousticommons.net/listen/
Thanks very much

Hey Grant,
I put in a proposal via the form—attaching it here too. I hope that you are well!
Best,
Jonathan
What Anthropocene memories can poetry anticipate? The past we are in that will have to have been (or not). Future Anterior brings poetry to COP26 as a means to solicit listening, dialogue, and exchange – amongst ourselves, including different languages and cultures, but also between the different senses, and across geographical and species barriers. As an accredited NGO-observer (with Universities of Warwick/ Lund) I will be moving between the 'Blue Zone', the 'Green Zone' and the Glasgow city streets throughout the first week of COP26. (I have a slot 4-5:30pm on the afternoon of 3 Nov to lead poetry workshops in the Green Zone.) I have compiled a small anthology of poetry by some of our most brilliant poets (Will Alexander, Mei-mei Berssenbrugge, Stephen Collis, CA Conrad, Alec Finlay, Brenda Hillman, Robert Kocik, Layli Long Soldier, Craig Santos Perez, Evelyn Reilly, Linda Russo, Jennifer Scappetone, Cole Swensen, amongst others), printed as a pamphlet that I will be giving away all week. I hope to offer this pamphlet as a prompt to reflection and conversation and would be happy to stream some of what I am hearing and discussing with delegates and people in the street, whenever there is a bit of space on your stream.

depends a bit on your linux skills. you can use VPN as mentioned, but you can also just activate ssh on the box https://phoenixnap.com/kb/enable-ssh-raspberry-pi and use something that tells you the current IP address of it, or use dyn-dns or similar https://help.dyn.com/remote-access/getting-started-with-remote-access/

Hi,
If you are using the streambox os then you can simply tick the box allowing remote access in the web interface (you get to this by typing streambox.local in your web browser) and it will give you an url.
Best Peter
