Today is the 4th of July in the United Sates, otherwise known as "Independence Day."

It is also the first anniversary of the World Listening Project http://www.worldlisteningproject.org.

Once the sun begins to set, it will be a noisy night with fireworks exploding throughout my neighborhood. Obviously, with the explosions there will be a very wide dynamic wide on my Locustream. Being all located in urban centers, I expect that other U.S.-based streams will pick up the sound of fireworks, too.
