Hello,
I could be wrong, but suspect that Safari on a Mac running OS 10.9 (my system) requires some adjustments. Firefox works perfectly.
I'm also informed that the map won't load on an iPad for a user accessing from Germany and Norway.
Are there any instructions on how to fix this?

from my experience, it's work and pain to support all these mobile toys. I've recently (...) started to create mobile versions for various projects on aporee. will see how far it goes... apples don't autoplay, deny downloading, androids render slow and sticky, players may support file formats or not... somthing that helps, but is a field on its own, is the jquery-mobile framework for html5/javascript based sites. (there are others too). bests, Udo

Hi Udo,
I can feel your lament well. It's a pain, mystifying, etc. I think I'm getting into deeper levels of web technologies than I can understand. But, we depend on them to work and have no budget to hire people who know. Either I just walk away or just sucked deeper into the technical vortex...
Regarding the Safari browser, on my MacBook Pro (OS Mavericks 10.9.5), instead of opening the stream Safari downloads an un-openable file named after the stream URL, “chicago_campsherwin.ogg.download” in my case. Safari is unable to distinguish between live audio streams and files. I wonder why.
In the Get Info the file name is grayed out and the source is file from http://locus.creacast.com:9001/chicago_campsherwin.ogg, http://locusonus.org/soundmap/051/html/readmore.php?id=264
Perhaps that's neither here nor there.
I just finally fixed issues with the Firfox browser that required using Terminal to flush the DNS cache. I'm no UNIX code jockey, so far I have not broken the whole OS, and I know that http://mwsae.org wasn't hijacked, but I just wasted a week trying to figure that out...but I still believe persistence has its rewards.
All the best, Eric
