By the way, I’m giving up on the audio injector card. It’s ridiculously noisy for streaming, even with the card mounted by ribbon cable. For the sameish price this IQaudio card seems very good.

no, they're just hanging out of the window, at a distance of about 40cm. It's not a permanent setup, just for testing. works stable now for a few hours. pretty small and sounds nice. that pi zero performs fine. --u

Hi Udo & list, Thank you for that! Since my Audioinjector-ultra doesn't work on Streambox, but is ok on Raspbian, I'm trying to stream with darkice. After many attempts I think the card is recognized (device = hw0), but there are connection issues. I tried many combinations in server connection fields. Can you share your darkice.cfg?

I'm online! I feel like I've just cross a desert: After trying all options in darkice.cfg, I decided to try with Pd patch _simple_locustream.pd_, which doesn't work for any reason. But opening subpatches to fix it, I noticed the autoconfig url, which gave me /locusonus1/ as password (?!?). I was trying with my own account password. Do I have to change it anywhere? So for the next one here is a working darkice.cfg. Respect syntax (server whithout http://, mount point without /, etc):

55 hours and still broadcasting ;) battery is a Intenso 15000mAh type.

testing continues... now it's running over 32h connected to a USB battery, nice.

the iq has a button onboard which can be programmed freely with some python scripting. Eg you could do a reboot, shutdown or start streaming...
