My Queens, New York stream should be back on the map and working again. Please let me know if it isn't. It's URL changed a while back, and I misplaced the login information to change it. Thanks to Grant Smith for helping with that.
Yes indeed its back up and sounding great - Nice stereo!

Yes I took the opportunity this summer to set up our experimental binaural ears (made by Gregoire) in my mothers garden (see photo) the binaural spatialization is pretty good but we are getting some unwanted parasites from the sound card (guitar face). In fact the ears are attached to my deceased fathers painting studio so for me there is a slightly uncanny listening over the ether (as opposed to Edison's voices from the ether). My connection here in Niolon was knocked out by lightning for a while.
We had a meeting with Gregoire and Stephan a couple of days ago and we will be having a session next week to do some tweaking to the dark ice client and also the Icecast server to see if we can increase quality and get rid of those glitches. We are also thinking that it would be worth incorporating the browser interface ( streambox.local ) in a pi configuration that permits the use of the cirrus audio card and we also intend to make that interface available over the www.
Since we are going to be working on a new distribution its a good time to add things to the todo list (or wish list at least).
Very nice the VLF stream!

Uncanny indeed!
You know Alan Bowness in Ormskirk has also been casting (his own) ears, and listening through them.. a bit of a theme going on..
I will think about to do's. We like the Cirrus Logic card a lot, but the drivers are still a pain to incorporate in a proper image, as you know. Would be good to discuss.
Also we have various ideas from here which this might be an opportunity to share and synch up with you guys if you have time - how's about a skype call next week?
Thanks
