I suggest :

The better is to use as login and psw the name/location of your stream (we proposed that into our introduction and guideline message)

for instance :

first account : login : cearte psw : cearte (if you want create new accounts like these and replace the current one, I can cancel the former you created under miguelmonroy)

second account : login : yourhomeplace (example : ensanada) psw : yourhomeplace (ensenada)

We recommend this in our last message to all streamers : "You need to create an account (one by webmike) with your own login and psw (keep them for next updates). Be careful, we recommand to use as a login and password the name of your place (stream-name): for example harbour/harbour or avatar/avatar (if the name is already exists try another one)"

About the name of your stream : "The url of your stream will have this form : http://locus.creacast.com:9001/location_streamname.ogg Location is your town, stream-name is your place (some example: boston_harbour.ogg / quebec_avatar.ogg / paris_18.ogg / ) This must exactly corresponds to the values you enter in your Pd patch."

Because on the new map we've got a feature to gather streams located in the same perimeter, with a menu per dot. For instance, the Ensanada dot (it means the name of your location) could give an access to two streams : cearte_ensanada.ogg and I suggest you for your second stream to use : ensanada_nameofyourplace.ogg (as an example, the name of your place can be your street name or the name of your quarter). We previewed this feature in order to resolve neighboured streams. Thus you can access with one dot to various streams. Have a look on Marseille dot in France, and on Paris dot.

Have you open audio settings on pd preference?? Look if your external or internal sound card is connected and apply. Look the sound preference on your system (in and out) .Level of microphone. After active audio and try your stream.

Have you the pd-extended version?  (I have Pd version 0.39.2-extended-rc4) + nicolas

you use internal microphone (the computer's mic) or a external microphone connected on line in of your computer? +nicolas

On your preference system----Sound---- IN----internal mic Do you see the level moved?

Yes, Nicolas gave the path ... Check first your sound input and its recognition into the Pd patch.

If I understand the lonely infos you must (precisely) put into your patch are : streamname : ensanada_ksa yourname : miguel_monroy location : ensanada

and click on the toggle below (launch stream)

the number 1 must appear on the below cell, and the pages sent to the server must run

(in order to be sure your stream is up, check here : http:// locus.creacast.com:9001/ )

don't forget to put descriptions and images on the online form : http://locusonus.org/soundmap/ (click on the admin link, on top right)
