Is there a way to father the recordings of a stream for the last year or so?

Hallo folks -- so I'm trying to get my stream running for Reveil, and it seems that Nicecast is unable to maintain the connection with the server. Maybe the software is toast? I'm using the same settings I've used for the past eight Reveils ... I've had my stream running off and on during the past year, but now, I can't get that connection from my laptop (MacBook Pro).
I was able to make a connection and stream w/ locuscast app on an ipad, but I have no way of connecting my external mike (H6) to the ipad to stream from that.
The standalone locustream zip pd app isn't functioning properly on my machine either, and I don't have the time to be experimenting with pd intracacies ...
Any help would be appreciated...
Very frustrated after 25 years experience in streaming, and it's always some shit technology issues every time, that and a user with a very short fuse! Isn't there a goddamn OSX streaming client that works anymore?

Hi John BUTT is a free cross platform streaming app. It's very good. I'd suggest tto try that.

+++ for butt +++ for darkice command line client $$$ for audiohighjack/loopback (creators of nicecast) though it's way more than a streaming client. streaming to whatever server is just another output module. worth the money, imho.

thanks folks for all the input -- sorry for my impatience (it's the effect of having a 'regular' and very stressful job while trying desperately to continue at least small efforts to be a creative sonic artist) ... I seem not to be able to win that fight in the moment :-\
but I'll check into all of these, along with reviving one of my numerous older laptops to see if any of them are set to stream (some of them are for sure, but we'll see if they still work!

I also used Nicecast for many years. It is no longer supported and has been replaced with Audio Hijack. Audio Hijack is not free but neither was Nicecast. I find Audio Hijack to be a better option then BUTT if you are streaming content via other software. If you are streaming direct from your interface then BUTT is stable and reliable.

Another free option that may or may not work is Ladiocast. I only used it once or twice for short streams.
It hasn't been updated since 2018, so not sure about modern compatibility.

I hope that plugin works better than it did when I tried it some years ago. When I inserted that plugin on Reaper's master track post-processing, it would stream fine for about 5 minutes, then all audio would stop and hang for a few seconds at a time, both on the stream and through Reaper itself, then it would resume with highly broken audio for a few seconds before settling down again. Rinse and repeat.
For streaming from Reaper directly, I eventually ended up using another solution. Since this was on Windows, I used Virtual Audio Cable, a free plugin called Voxengo Record, and the stand-alone Edcast streaming client. This turned out to be much more stable. I could run a stream with processing for months at a time with no issues. There was another version of Edcast compiled with ASIO support, but it wasn't stable either. I tried using that in combination with Reaper's ReaRoute ASIO device. All stuff that you don't have to worry about on Mac OS.
