Hi Sarah, In response to your question, I use a T-Mobile Gigacube here in Europe. It's a WiFi router that uses a mobile microSIM.
It also has an ethernet port although I have never used that function.

Have used this for 3 months now 24/7 streaming audio to two servers. Don't know if i'd 'recommend' it but its cheap, unlocked to any network, set up in about 5 mins with a giff gaff sim card and hasn't broken yet. 👍 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tenda-Unlocked-Configuration-Detachable-Monitoring/...

I wanted to pick your brains on getting the iQAudio Pi-Codec Zero to run with DarkIce for the LocuSonus stream. I bought the card before they sold the company, so its an original one.
Grant has given me some pointers re editing the /boot/config.txt but I am not sure my entry is correct.
Anyway, if you have any Perls of wisdom to get this running on a PiZero I would be very grateful.

We use the Teltonika RUT240, also with good results.
In general, the Teltonika range (modems, routers, gateways, switches etc) seems really good for robust long-term installations with a budget.
Do your 20 stations by any chance include live audio which we could potentially include in the round-the-world dawn chorus broadcast happening over 1-2 May?

Hello Grant, thank you very much for the invitation, I find it very interesting. But unfortunately I do not have any station at the moment with a streaming system, we are dedicated to making noise monitoring measurements, but focused on the measurement of Decibels, the regulatory area mainly. On the other hand, we have confidentiality of information with clients.
Anyway, it is something that I have yet to implement, but we have not had time. I have been developing systems since 2015 and since 2019 we are developing hydroacoustic systems.
