Perhaps I can set up a new stream from my current location, at Ragdale in Lake Forest, IL.
BTW, I am looking forward learning about how to set up a remote, solar-powered stream from Grant.

Eric: I'd be curious about that, too. Of course, the tricky thing to do is to get the stream onto the Internet.WiFi only goes so far maybe 50 - 70 feet), but cellular can connect most everywhere. If you can stream with an iPhone or Android, then all you need is the audio interface.Most laptops don't have cellular data built in.

I have and I am streaming now with my iPhone now, just to test it here from Ragdale. It's in the conference room via WiFi.
Using cellular is possible this way but then there's the cost of the data usage. If I decide to go out in the prairie or by the river, the phone is also limited to running from its battery.

The solar side of the off grid butterfly stream is working again. Our partners in Mexico are just trying to resolve how to top up the accound remotely with the ISP
We will have our simple solar recipes up shortly..
