picture attached: pi zero + wittypi mini + iqaudio zero + DC/DC converter (6-30V to 5V). that unit is ready to run with eg. a 12V car battery, or LiFePo or whatever, and monitors its input power, also temperature, which might be useful when it lives in a closed box.
