Greetings!
RE: IRC - live listening room
I've been following this thread with some interest, I think a live listening room is an amazing idea, one that is available on an ad hoc basis, which might even morph into say a monthly or so group listening activity.
I did a bit of poking around noticed two possibilities:
1. the irc chat on the reveil platform is still live
2. a #locusonus channel does exist on freenode - it looks like it was set up in 2009 but has been abandoned ive been squatting on it since the beginning of this discussion the web interface for freenode.net is not terrible, but if people want to use that I would suggest a locusonus admin/rep try to reclaim the channel
best. t.e.

oh, and if someone wants to join that radio.earth chat group on telegram, please use the following link https://t.me/joinchat/jvE7Md69oTpiZGMy there are about 20 people so far, happy to share presence and listening experience, I guess.

Ah, thank you Udo! stream sounding full of life this morning -- some of it even sounds

agree with an "online listening room". while any chat would do the job basically, (eg. discord, twitch for streaming and chatting, self hosted etc.), for the intense and
hour-long
listening session over here I have choosen a telegram channel, "radio.earth", where we meet for listening to temporary streams from 1st to 3rd natures... examples from March and April, by Peter Cusack
and
me: https://radio.earth/anthropophone/24032021/ https://radio.earth/anthropophone/12042021/ Behind the scene (on aporee.org) there's a tool for recording and archiving the sessions. Advantage of Telegram is accessibility on any platform, and ease of
use,
text/voice/img etc., and availability on any desktop computer. Not bad, not ideal, there's room
for
more / other ideas. Udo

Locus Sonus doesn't have a chat function does it? The genius of Soundcamp's Reveil Platform as a listening
machine/interface
for one dedicated day needs a "drop in" equivalent I feel (unless
there
is
one I am missing?)-- an online listening room -- an acoustic common
room.
Grant, Dawn, Maria? Meanwhile, in Hampstead, sounds like someone or some thing got close
