I didn't find a javascript based player for ogg streams ...

With the Java applet, the internaut must accept the certificate  
before playing the sound

The demo at http://people.xiph.org/~arek/pg/hx/test.html work for me and it seems to be open-source-code, at least sources could be downloaded.

But it's Flash :( and the last version is required
