hi Alejo
thanks very much for your reply
I don't know - everybody in the house uses the wireless routinely for lots of different projects. the stream has always been stable when running but prone to drop out. I thought it was because the wireless signal was weak in that area so I added another base base station - but that hasn't resolved it.
If others have experience of this issue, that would be very useful for troubleshooting

Hi Grant,
What kind of network connection are you using? It sound like the network has become somehow unstable.. if it used to work then I see no other reason from a far.
Needless to say, wireless is less stable and even the fact that a neighborh set up a new Access Point (wireless router) nearby using the same frecuency channel can be the cause for packets getting lost. (wild guess)
Hope this helps, /a

hello all
I have had a stream running in s london london_camberwell for a month or so..
the locus streamer works well on an old G4 mac on a wifi network
however, the stream keeps dropping: it reverts to "not streaming" and has to be restarted manually
I'd be very grateful for advice on how to troubleshoot this so I can keep it running reliably
thanks very much
