I like the Raspberry Pi 3B personally.
The latest Streambox software by Locus Sonus works well on all models of the Pi including the Pi 4. The free download link and detailed instructions are here:

I just happen to like the Pi 3B because it's heavily field tested, especially with the Focusrite 2i2 2nd Generation soundcard as an interface.

Which of the R.pi versions available do you recommend? I probably wouldn't use it for anything but the streaming.
