Sounds good, I'll look at your notes. I am also testing an off grid installation with a solar panel and a 4G dongle.
What strikes me is that the streambox always seems to sends data. So in my case with a subscription of 5000MB per month, the data will run out.
The only solution is a subscription with unlimited data. That's actually a shame, experience with this?

Hello all

I've been running a test stream off grid in my backyard (http://locus.creacast.com:9001/stream_demo.mp3) for a few days.

This is along the lines of the temporary streams discussed here already. It adds a small solar power unit.
