the java applet is silent on my machine running firefox3 on ubuntu 9.04... sounds good in vlc.
the flash player demo http://people.xiph.org/~arek/pg/hx/test.html works well... i am using flash player 10.

With the Java applet, the internaut must accept the certificate before playing the sound
