Thanks Nicolau.

I have attempted this for a few years in a row now, but never successfully, so always fell back on terrestrial soundscapes. This year I'm keeping it simple, and have a hydrophone running out to a newly created (few months old) garden pond! This is linked to a Sony M10 with the line out feeding a Streambox running on RaspPi.

Been running since this afternoon - had some fabulous sounds not dissimilar to this, recorded a few days ago.

Pretty quiet now, but hoping things will pick up during dawn....

Thanks for getting in touch :)

Wow, David,

Nice idea! I was thinking exactly about something similar yesterday. Could you please tell us a little more about it? Hardware, problems. etc? Is it working? I couldn´t hear it.

Best wishes

Nicolau

Hi all,

Joined in REVEIL for a number of years now, and finally managed to set up an underwater stream - from my newly created garden pond!

Not sure why i'm getting persistent audio drop-outs. Any ideas?
