[locustream] Pi reboot vs. power on/off?

Sorry to bother you about this. I shutdown the Pi using the stream admin page, so i could use the mic record the wind and waves outside, now the mic is reconnected. Now the reboot won't work. I've tried rebooting at least a dozen or more times over the past three or more hours. The admin page says, "Your stream box is not responding. Please check your connections..." etc. Those connections are all as they were before when it was working fine.

Should I just unplug and replug the power supply then try it, or will that burn the place down? :-/

It's running Peter's Locusonus OS.
