Should do. The preamps are comparable.

The self-noise might actually be a little less with the Behringer interfaces, at least when compared to the second generation scarlets.

For years, I used a pair of UMC  interfaces with dynamic microphones, which, of course, are far less sensitive than condensers, and didn't have too much to complain about.

Thanks. I’d prefer to work with the interface I have if possible. If push comes to shove I wonder if a straight swap to a Behringer would work . . . ?

I have both a UMC202 HD and a UMC 204 HD. For streaming purposes, it's pretty well identical, except the 204 HD has two more outputs and inserts on the inputs, plus the mono/stereo switch.

By the way the Behringer UMC204HD added a mono/stereo switch, and isn't too much bigger/costlier than the UMC202HD.
