Good question, Grant - I’ll go out and look at it. It’s a very long (100 ft I think) flat ethernet cable that goes through a door - it might have gotten pinched. If it’s broken I hope I can fix it, or maybe it’s time to go solar :)
If I can’t figure it out I’ll message you off-list. Thanks!

Hi Mike
Are you running the streambox via Power over Ethernet, so effectively powering it off and on each time?
Or are you just dis and re connecting the data?
I guess it was running as expected until recently. Maybe suspect a physically damaged ethernet cable. If there is a cut or break in the cable, I have found it can work intermittently before it finally fails.
Happy to help troubleshoot off-list too is that could be useful

Hi everyone, This past week, i’ve woken up to discover my streambox is not
responding. To make it respond i’ve been unplugging and re-plugging the ethernet cable from my router; the box starts responding again instantly, almost like it was running the whole time but not talking to my router. So I suspect it’s a simple fix - any thoughts? Maybe just re-install the Pi?
