Dear All,

Although this call for participation is indirectly related to the Locustream project it seems like an important project that some of you will be interested in.  I'm forwarding the updated version which opens the project to more varied audio capture technique.

Peter Sinclair (for Locus Sonus)

Dear colleagues,

Last week you received a call to participate in a collection of urban sonic environments to document the rare urban soundscapes induced by the containment measures currently being deployed in several countries.

We received a lot of emails from researchers, radio producers and artists interested in participating. We propose here an updated version of the project (online here) in order to include 1) different equipment and 2) different sampling effort. Think of clearing the cache of your browser to see the new version V2.

What changed?

If you are interested in this project, we encourage you to subscribe online. This will allow us to keep you updated in the future about the project.

Thank you for continuing to spread the word about this call via all networks that you consider appropriate.

Sincerely yours,

The co-PIs: Samuel Challéat, Amandine Gasc, Nicolas Farrugia, Jeremy Froidevaux.
