Thank you Grant,
It is most enjoyable - if a bit of a shock to the system - to get up once a year at 4am and be part of the Soundcamp experience.... one of the few things I do that connects me intensely with the reality of my existence as a small entity on a planet that is going round and round and round. I think the only other time I have this kind of 'planetary experience' is when there is an occasional eclipse and it is brought home to me that whilst I may hurry around everyday in my own little world, out there, there are much there are larger forces at play. This year's Reveil was also the incentive for me to build my binaural head - a crude, but acoustically effective piece of woodwork! And hopefully at some point later this year I will get my original stream box installed on Tiree.
All the best, Jo

Hi all
I should take this chance to say thank you to everybody who put up streams, and who also in many cases wrote detailed descriptions of the site and context of each stream. Together with the artists who contributed a remarkable parallel programme of work developed in and for the live field.
The whole Reveil broadcast exists, of course, as the assembly of these attentive, detailed actions, which in many cases are significant works in their own right.
It would be good if we can use some of the new low cost / low power streamboxes to make some of these streams available over the longer term. Maybe this can be a plan for the coming year..
I guess that, as suggested, the traffic on the server exposed some limitations of a setup that has been remarkably resilient, and operated as a common resource for a long time now. I know there's a process going on to work out what happened - probably a combination of things - and what can be learned for next time.
Thanks everybody

we experienced sunday 4:30 - 6 during the live broadcast to the national Czech radio network many dropouts in Locusonus stream and Reveil stream.
i think it was not the local connection but the server
probably too many users simultaneously?
I think it is the part of the game..
best regards and thanks for your contributions

I'd guess the activities this weekend hit a server limit. U.
Taylor Nuttall:
I've not been able to resolve if there is a local issue with the
streambox,
with the local network or broadband connection or whether it is at the server end of the chain.
Any thoughts? Is there anything that can be done to mitigate this?
