Thanks Alejo! The buzzing/humming was very present - also when changing to other microphones the unwanted sounds was there, aswell as changing the power adapteur. I am surprised as you that it now sounds clean and fine without "doing" anything. But also good. Just don´t understand what happened... Might be some patch problem - but what?.... Either it streams or not? The patch couldn´t be able to produze a humming and buzzing like that... sounds very strange to me. Maybe a cold soldering somewhere? - and during the transportation to you (up in the air etcetera) it might have gotten better contact again... hmm... not very likely, is it? intermittent failures like this are the worst.
I´ll report back as soon I have installed it again. Probably on monday. Until then I try to keep the laptop stream running.
All the best, Björn

Björn, I just sent a revamped streambox and a spare card.
I made a soundcard check with it from a clean direct input (OP-1) so i could use both from the air captured mic sounds and play some notes and samples.. all came clean on the stream so we have to rule out the card as being faulty (on that noise-in-the-line issue you reported some days ago).
On the pd patch front we got suggestions from Cyrille and others that could be integrated. Once that happens we could generate a new image for the streamboxes. I say this cause the wet/dry options on the patch help very little...
So, it might be either a mic/cable or the pd patch.. but i had no problems with ground or not ground boxes and it surprises me a bit that this could be a problem since we sue this boxes for a while now.

Hello Alejo! Thanks for fixing this!
My adress is as follows:
Björn Eriksson Storgatan 129 88140 Sollefteå Sweden
The backup card, is that a flashmemory with the OS+programs?
All the best, Björn E.
P.S. As I will leave on a night train this evening I will not be able to put up a streambox stream until montay when I am back, but I´ll will try to have the laptop-stream running. With some luck it will run for some days. Do you have a general tip about what could make the patch run more safe? If there is some background programs that definitively shouldn´t be running. Needless to say... I am on a windows, win7. I guess i would have less problems with a linux laptop.
