I'm using Peter's disk image I found on the LS website. If the software on SD card gets trashed/corrupted I'll install or re-image it with the pi baker app.
However, if that happens when I'm away, there's no way to fix it.

Just to add: while some have reported corrupt disk issues when plugging and unplugging the Pi, we have had a Pi running with constant power outages, protected by a surge protector, and we have not had any adverse effects. I'm sure eventually we will; but on balance I'd say the risks are not so high. Always good to have a backup of your disk image for that eventuality. With ApplePi-Baker this is now fast and easy to do.
