simply because the - admittedly ancient - interface didn't show up in the audio input pref settings. i didn't expect having to specify a path in pd guessed that is taken care on the OS level. and thanks i didnt intend to open, alejo. it was simply a question of how the electred is powered for adjusting my own solution to the new box without the macally (which did the phantompowering) anyway its all good for now. we'll see how long your neat little mic braves the humidity outside

it is yes, like so many other mics :)
if so could you tell me as to what's what on the mini jack
daniel, what do you mean? inside theres just a capacitor that gets to pull the power to feed the electret. is simple and handmade so try not to open. it can break and you will have to resolder.
if what you need is to have give pd directions for using a second sound interface, the look inside pd for the audio card settings.
i use(d) the macally because i have the same hanging outside my window will probably refix my old mic
yes, could also extend the mic i sent with a cable.
but let me know if you wont use is, is only worth with a streambox.. we could send it to someone else!
