Thanks all for waking up your microphones ;-)

After a listening-round on the soundmap, http://locusonus.org/ soundmap/ , and specially for the Locustream Promenade show at Strasbourg, you could improve your microphones :

• Oakland : a permanent click (caused by the computer clock ?)

The main problem seems to be the fact that the USB wireless adaptor I am using to be online is sitting too close to the mic. After playing with a few configurations, I'm guessing that the wireless card is somehow generating the hum and click in the stream.

I'm wondering if an external USB microphone would be better. What do you think? Could you recommend one that works with the box?
