Grant suggested I try some changes, and this is what I've done: In /boot/streambox.txt - changed to soundcard=0 - Added login, wifi details In /boot/config.txt - added dtoverlay=iqaudio-codec In /etc/dhcpcd.conf - added static domain_name_servers=8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8 Also verified that the streambox server comes up on a different rpi, so the config is correct, it's just not working with the rpi zero w? is there a system change that breaks wifi for my rpi zero w maybe? Hello all I've been running a test stream off grid in my backyard (http://locus.creacast.com:9001/stream_demo.mp3) for a few days. This is along the lines of the temporary streams discussed here already. It adds a small solar power unit. Cicada Live Stream

Hello all. In several states in the U.S. the periodic cicadas have emerged from their 17 year slumber to sing, mate and die. I set up a live stream to share the chorus. In a few weeks the cicadas will be dead but I'll probably leave the stream up for awhile. building a weatherproof outdoors rig

Hi folks, I have an opportunity this summer to install a permanent outdoor streaming mic on a beautiful secluded island off the coast of Cork, Ireland this summer. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for making a permanent outdoor mic streaming rig? Once installed, the rig will be left alone for months on end.
