Grant suggested I try some changes, and this is what I've done: In /boot/streambox.txt - changed to soundcard=0 - Added login, wifi details In /boot/config.txt - added dtoverlay=iqaudio-codec In /etc/dhcpcd.conf - added static domain_name_servers=8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8 Also verified that the streambox server comes up on a different rpi, so the config is correct, it's just not working with the rpi zero w? is there a system change that breaks wifi for my rpi zero w maybe? Class compliant device on RPi 4 Streambox not working (Sonosax)

Hi, I'm installing a RPi 4 with latest Streambox distribution (3.1 stable from locusonus website). All installed successfully, I can access with streambox.local or SSH, but my soundcard is not recognized. It's a Sonosax M2D2 preamp, self-powered, class compliant, which works OOTB on all my Linux systems. I don't see it in "list audio devices": 0 [ALSA ]: bcm2835_alsa - bcm2835 ALSA bcm2835 ALSA Thank you for your help... rph

Streambox with Zoom H5

HI, Looking for help with using Streambox with RPi 4 and a Zoom H5 set up as an audio USB interface. When starting the Stream in Streambox I get the following error message: AUDIO ENCODER ERROR: CAN'T OPEN AUDIO DEVICE Rpi Is connected to network via ethernet Zoom H5 has USB configured for Audio interface Using a Rasperian OS – the RPi will detect and identify the Zoom H5, the Steambox wont. Any help is very much appreciated. Looking to use this roe Reveil this weekend. Regards, Anton

Dear all With apologies for cross postings. Next week from Saturday 05:00 UTC+1 to Sunday at 06:00 UTC+1, the 8th edition of the Reveil <https://soundtent.org/soundcamp_reveil.html> broadcast will make its way around the world on live audio streams, following the sunrise west. Reveil is composed from live streams provided by members of this list. Each one adds to the detail and variety of the loop. In case you have not had a chance, or would like to open an existing or new microphone in time for this project, we would welcome it for the broadcast! We will of course check the Locus Sonus server, where we expect many new streams to be appearing in the next days, and hopefully remaining longer. In addition, to be in synch on timing, and to be added to the Reveil timeline appearing shortly at soundtent.org/reveil <http://soundtent.org/reveil/>, there is the option to set up a profile page for your stream. This give listeners extra context and will be archived. That can be done from here <http://streams.soundtent.org/manage/streams> The broadcast goes out on some twenty FM and net radio stations, and is accompanied by a programme of projects from the Acoustic Commons network, available on the platform <http://soundtent.org/reveil/>.
