It's raining in Galilee - must be a couple of hours before daybreak - there's a swirl of cloud over the W Atlantic and Eastern seaboard of N America - sounds gusty - with maybe big drops falling on timber decking and higher pitched smaller drops perhaps on soil or grass..? mid morning in london bw g

It's really good to have the stream from Rogerspark back up - but it's pretty austere: a resonant hum with periodic pops. there's also the odd short dropout, which makes me think it might need tweaking some time - not a plentiful commodity, I realize bw grant

Hi Grant, I have not had it running for almost 2 years, gulp. But, now it has a home. :-) I am going to place a wind guard over the mic and try to get the buzz out of it. Hi all: I promise, one of these minutes, I'll actually get these streams on the map . No, really! My stream at Greensboro, NC was offline for about two months, and is now back. It can be found here: http://borris.me/outside.m3u Or an ogg version: http://borris.me:8888/outside.ogg I also have a stream at my apartment in Belle Harbor, NY, facing the street from a second story window. This is about the quietest place you can find that is still technically a part of New York City. http://borris.me/outside2.m3u Both are using a pair of Behringer XM8500 dynamic microphones. The Greensboro stream uses a Yamaha MG102C board into a Behringer UCA-222 audio interface with an old Phonic PCL3200 compressor. The Belle Harbor stream uses a Behringer UMC204 audio interface with it's on-board preamps, and a DBX Project One compressor on the channel inserts.

just listening to this now - sounding very good - some low key recorded music playing and voices, a dog - it s around 10.30 night here in London - around 4.30 afternoon in Colombia - I don't usually open the 'read more..' so hadn't noticed there's a local time clock there - which is nice thx grant
