hi all, there are 2 upcoming festivals where the streams from all around the planet will be required, this is a call to arms! :) please shout/scream and let us know what kind of issues you are facing that stop you from streaming: City Sonics / Mons August 26 / Sept 11th 2011 And Todaysart +/ MyCityLab in Brussels Sept 29th / Oct 2nd 2011 also, per request of an artist i have now a setup that streams mp3 using darkice (it can well be ogg, that is what we use). the device runs under 4% of CPU usage and can be made headless (no-monitor). if someone here is interested on this barebones build please let me know, it includes gstreamer so if anyone feels at ease with it and will like to explore further then this could well lead us into another way for streaming from the alix computer.
